How does Radiesse reshape my nose?
Radiesse is made of unique calcium-based microspheres suspended in a natural gel that is injected into your skin. The consistency of Radiesse is paste-like and easily replicates the "feel" of nasal tissue.
By injecting Radiesse in the areas above, below or to the sides of a "hump" or "bump" on the nose, the effect is to fill in the depressions and give the nose an aquiline and continuous surface.
Many Asian noses have a flatter nasal bridge. This problem of a flattened nose bridge is remedied by using Radiesse to increase the height of the bridge, giving the entire face more definition and dimension.

How long will my Radiesse Nose Job last?
Radiesse lasts about a year and a half in most instances. Because it is not a permanent filler, you should expect the effects to gradually disappear by the end of the 2nd year. Potentially, corrections of the nose using Radiesse may last considerably longer.
The microspheres of CaHA have been shown to last up to seven years clinically. Radiesse should provide a long lasting correction, however individual results may vary, affected by your age, skin type, lifestyle and muscle activity.

What are Radiesse treatments like?
A simple out-patient procedure, your Radiesse injections are very similar to those of fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane. The procedure takes about 15 minutes. Injection discomfort is minimized or eliminated by use of a topical cream or the area may be numbed with a local injection. Treatment sites may be swollen for several days. There is also potential for bruising at the injection site, which may be covered with makeup.
